Paradise Crow, Lycocorax pyrrhopterus, is similar
Paradise crow-sized with a length of about 34 cm. Its fur is dark, soft and silky. Beak black, carmine red eye color, and have a voice call is reminiscent of a barking dog. Males and females alike. Females slightly larger bird than the male birds.

paradise is monogamous and endemic to lowland forests in the Maluku islands in Indonesia. Its main food consists of fruits and artropod. Three subspesiesnya have been identified, and characterized by the presence or absence of white patches on the wing feathers.
