cuscus is one marsupial mammals found in Indonesia. Like the
kangaroo, possum females give birth and then care for and bring their children in a bag found in his stomach.
cuscus is often considered the same animal with the slow loris, though both are different. The main characteristic in addition to pack-pack stomach pouch is contained in a round shape face with small ears and thick fur.
Also fitch have a long and powerful tail that serves as a tool to hold onto when moving from one branch to another branch. Tail possum is also a defensive weapon by linking their tails firmly on a tree trunk or branch.
The biggest fitch fitch bear (Ailurops ursinus) that the body length reaches 1 meter more. While the possum is pack-pack smallest dwarf who has a body length of only 29-38 cm with a weight of only 1 kg.
Besides regarded as the same species with the slow loris, people are also more often regarded as one species of possum. Though cuscus consists of several species in 5
marsupial genera namely Ailurops, Phalanger, Spilocuscus, Strigocuscus, and Trichosurus.
